The AMA (NSW) legal team provides extensive advice on a range of medico-legal matters such as subpoenas and privacy. The Medico-Legal team is also responsible for reviewing and making detailed submissions on legislation affecting the medical profession and contributing to The NSW Doctor magazine. It administers the AMA’s Duty Solicitor Referral Scheme which provides members with highly-specialised legal advice from our affiliated firm, TressCox Lawyers.
