AMA (NSW) Doctor-in-Training 2011 State Election Priorities
AMA (NSW) has released its Doctor-in-Training 2011 State Election Priorities policy which aims to ensure that the increase in the number of medical graduates provides a solution to the severe medical workforce shortages that are currently impacting on patient care.
In order to achieve this, we need every graduate to become a fully-trained doctor.
We are calling for guaranteed internship positions for every graduate and have set out comprehensive proposals for ensuring high-quality protected training for all doctors-in-training.
